After their mainstreaming experience in the primary and secondary schools, students' expectations to perform well -at the university level- are high.<br />These students are high functioning academically; therefore, my training in multiple intelligences and higher order thinking is invaluable. My core curriculum teaching experience suggests that skilled educators routinely and successfully use strategies that suit all styles of learning.<br />However, the special needs students -in any spectrum- are especially in need of interpersonal skills and support. <br />Dr. Edelson's 5 Basic Conclusions are what all conscientious parents and teachers must consider - as valuable tips in successful child rearing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
